About this tool
The Random Number Generator creates one or many values between a minimum and maximum. Use integer mode for numbered entries, seats, rows, questions, or samples. Decimal mode is available for simulations and test data where a selected precision is useful.
You can allow repeats, require unique results, preserve the generated order, sort the output, copy it, or download it. Pikyo validates impossible requests instead of silently changing the range or count.
Tool data stays in your browser. Number settings and generated values are processed in your browser. Pikyo does not send them to Technway.

How Pikyo picks the result
Pikyo starts with secure random values from your browser and maps them into the range you chose. Whole-number results use an unbiased mapping so values near either end of the range are not favored.
For decimals, Pikyo works with scaled whole-number steps first, then puts the decimal point back in the requested place. The result is generated before it is shown on screen.
Before you use the result
Do not use this tool as the sole mechanism for regulated lotteries, cryptographic keys, passwords, medical selection, legal decisions, or financial transactions.
Quick questions
Can I generate unique numbers?
Yes. In integer mode, the requested count cannot exceed the number of available values. Decimal mode applies the same rule to the scaled precision range.
Why is my request impossible?
For example, 20 unique integers cannot fit between 1 and 10. Increase the range, reduce the count, or allow repeats.
Are decimal values supported?
Yes. Choose decimal mode and select a reasonable precision from zero to six decimal places.
Can I restore the generated order after sorting?
Yes. Pikyo keeps the original result order until the next generation or reset.
Are the results suitable for security credentials?
No. Use dedicated password and cryptographic key tools that are designed for those purposes.
